Hello hello. Well, I'm back from Chicago, and let me just tell you, I HAD A BLAST! So, here's a recap:
Friday- Mom and me left when I got home from babysitting, around 5ish and headed to Greensburg, IN. got there around 9:30ish and met LAUREN AND MARCELO!!! I was very excited! so, i said bye to mom and headed to chicago with lauren and marcelo. (damn those vampires and standby stars! lol) got there around 12:30ish and we chatted for a while and finally went to sleep.
Saturday- we got up and went to denny's for some foodage and then we went to church because lauren had to lector. that was interesting. Then it was off to lincoln park to meet CHRIS AND JOHN!!! YAY! then it was off to navy pier! woooooty! much fun was had. we rode the ferris wheel and the wave swinger and then we ate and watched fireworks and then we left. there's definitely a square fountain in front of navy pier and that kept us easily amused people amused for a while b/c there was a beach ball stuck on top of it. lol. anyways, after the fireworks we headed back to the car and endured downtown chicago traffic...UGGG. definitely glad that i didn't have to drive through all that mess. major props to marcelo! anyways, we finally got home and then i messed around with marissa...tee-hee and then me and chris stayed up and chatted for a bit and we finally hit the hay around 3:30.
Sunday- definitely didn't do ANYTHING until 5 in the afternoon! man, we are lazy! lol. so, when we got to moving, we went to Zeprah's and ate some yummy food! then we went to play glow-in-the-dark mini golf. that was tons o' fun! i definitely lost...I got a 73...*hangs head* oh well, it was fun either way! then me and lauren played some air hockey, after she kicked marcelo's butt. she only beat me by a point! then chris kicked her butt, so it all evened out. after putt-putt, we headed home and roleplayed for a while and then we went to sleep.
Monday- we got up around 11 and got ready and took chris to the train station, but he missed the 12:35 train, so we went and had lunch at the rainforest cafe which is right across the street from the supersized mickey d's. dang, that place was HUGE! anyways, after lunch marcelo dropped me, chris, and john off at millenium park. so, we said a sad goodbye to them and strolled around the park for a bit and then chris caught his train, said bye to him and then me and john went to lincoln park and played cards and some chess for a while and then i caught my train to indy. rode on the train for 4 hours and finally hugged my mom at about 2. then we drove until about 4:30, then got a hotel and slept.
Tuesday- woke up around 10ish and got ready. had some breakfast at bob evans and then napped throughout the ride home. arouns 3:15 i called jonny and told him i would be late for practice. around 4:05, elizabeth from mcalister's called me and told me that i to work from 4-9. i was slightly pissed about that b/c i wasn't supposed to work. ARGH! so, i told them that i wasn't in town and would be on my way then i got into town. got home around 5 and changed and went to work. after work, i went to eat at chili's with my love and bunch o' people because apparently she had a suprise party, so that was fun. i missed mandi! and now, here i sit. i cannot believe i start school in like 2 days. tomorrow is my last day of vaca! UGG! well, that is it, for now! g'night ya'll!
